Since smoothie became, one of the favorite drinks of many people around the world, is entirely reasonable that we have the variety of different smoothies and its numerous variations like smoothie bowl, smoothie cup.
Among the latest versions of this favorite drink is ombre smoothie as one of the “most photogenic” from all the rest.
For a short time, it sparked enormous interest on social networks thanks to the numerous food stylists and bloggers who simply adore this beautiful smoothie.
Food stylist and fashion blogger Allison Wu brought this drink to perfection, presenting a daily diversity of colors and tastes.
She creates real masterpieces in the glass, energy and vitamin bombs that everyone wished to enjoy in the morning.
Although, as she writes in her blog, the creation of this hombre smoothie is not an easy job, but it has brought to her great popularity in a very short time.
Depending on the ingredients, you can create about five layers, starting with the brightest to the darkest shade of ingredients.
What is most important in the preparation of this smoothie is to create a thick paste of layers, so tastes do not flow into each other, this can be achieved by using frozen fruit, chia seeds, coconut, thick yogurt, large pieces of fresh fruit, etc.
After a little practice, it is easy to stack layers one on another. On the end, hey, nobody is perfect, so all layers do not need to meet all the ombre effect, just combine other complementary colors. For those who succeed in creations and want to take pictures of smoothie, before it starts to melt, it is recommended placing ombre smoothies in the freezer for a few minutes so you could catch the perfect frame without melting. They who are not interested in photographing just have to grab a spoon and dive into this perfectly creamy breakfast. Try it!
It is not complicated
What’s even better, is not at all complicated to get it. You need only a good blender and a little creativity to turn out exactly as it should. The only thing you have to watch out for, is that each layer of smoothies is previously separated in the different glasses, so on the end merge them into one glass.
